April gingerly set down the squealing pup and curled snuggly around her. Frost was tired but he new that April wouldn't go to sleep unless she felt that the female wouldn't come back. "I'll stay awake and make sure she doesn't return." He whispered to her, sitting watching the cave entrance.

*Sorry I didn't reply sooner :(* April stood in front of the pup watching the fight. She wanted to launch herself into the fight, but she worried that the wolf might grab the pup and run. <br /> <br /> Frost had already joined the fight. Frost nipped at the attacker's underbelly. She got weaker and fell to the ground, panting. "I give up keep my pup," She sighed limped out.

Something russled in the bushes. April percked her ears up and looked. There were a pair of yellow green eyes staring back at her. "Frost something is outside of the cave!" She whispered to her mate. A scraggly female wolf walked in, "Give me back the pup." She growled. Frost was awake now and he stood up getting ready to launch himself at the other wolf. "Stormy! Midnight! Wake up! The mother wants back her pup!" April howled.

Frost glanced around, there was a rabbit nibbling on a plant. "Hum I usally hunt larger prey but Aril is busy." He thought. He hid then darted over to the rabbit, he grabbed it by the neck and shook his head violently. The rabbit lay limp. He carried it to the den and gave it to April.
